Magazine Planning; Front page

This is the front page that I produced for the magazine.
The background is of people playing beach vollyball to show of sports and hobbies at the same time.
The main colours of the front page are Blue to match the sky, black to match the people, white to match the people and pink to just stand out and make it noticeable.

This is the olympic advert that I produced for mine, Khadijats and Firdowsa's magazine 'WDK'.

The reason the ad is split in the middle is because it is a double page spread and goes over two pages.

The colourful text in the middle says '2012DON!' and it is basically saying London but with 2012 in it as that is the year of the olympics.

Also in the middle is the olympic rings and a lady over the top of them doing gymnastics. At the bottom of 2012DON there is three of the London olympic mascots running with smoke behind them.

Also in the corners of each page there is the olympic torch with clouds around them so that the actual page looks like the sky with the blue background.

Magazine planning: Moodboard.

This is the magazine moodboard that me and my group produced. The moodboard contains pictures that have something to do with our magazine 'WDK'

Here are some reasons on why we choose certain pictures:

*We included the Olympic rings because in the magazine there are numerous adverts and articles based on the olympics.

*We also included the mens sports clothes because we wanted to have an article in the magazine about fashionable clothes to wear while playing sports.

*Another picture we included was the three sports tops (The basketball top, chealsea football top and the Millwall football top) as another example of sports clothes.

*The microphones, picture of the brown haired girl and blonde boy talking was examples of the interview that we was going to do but later decided against it.

*The baby reading a book was an example of our hobbies page.

*ect...

Magazine Planning: Mindmap!

This is the mindmap that me and my group (Khadijat and Fidowsa) produced.
The mindmap is for our magazine WDK which is about sports and leisure.
The mindmap basically just shows what we are going to contain in our magazine (our ideas) and what the magazine is going to be about.
However, some of the content on the mindmap we decided as a team later on not to do such as the 'tv guide'

This is my horror Movie, to produce this I used Adobe Premier, I uploaded all the clips and then picked the ones I wanted out one by one from the beginning and edited them so the first sequence flowed naturally, then I started on the second sequence which was the sequence were the girl is killed by the demon creatures. To produce sequence 2 i had to make sure the clips were really quick so that it made it look more realistic and that she was actually being killed. I then added sequence 2 to sequence 1 so that it was added to one whole movie.
After I added sequence 2 to sequence 1, I started to add sound effects, Like music and demon laughing and thunder sounds. This was quite hard as you had to get the music and the actual video to run smoothly toghether so that it ran appropriatly.
Once I had finished the sound I had to render the movie so that it stopped jumping and ran smoothly, once I had done this I exported the movie so that Youtube could recognise it then I copied the URL address and pasted it on here.

Double Trouble

Type of Video/Radio programme/Magazine (delete as applicable)

-A daily television program that comes on CBBC and on BBC after it’s been broadcasted on CBBC as a +1 program for people who may have missed it on the original channel.

-It’s on at 4:30 on CBBC and 5:30 on BBC1.

-It has its own website where children can play games based on what they have watched and take quizzes to win prizes and trophies to boost up their scores.

-A funny insight into twin life.

Purpose of Product:
To use comedy to entertain children on what two troublesome older/teen twins get up to on their daily life.

Content:

Each week we will have regular features including

     -A new adventure with the twins each day.

     -Questions in between after seeing the bad things they have      and how they could have made the situation better or what          they could have done.

     -A speech at the end by the twins saying what they have learnt  that day.

Target Audience:

The television is aimed at children of both sexes, but I think girls will enjoy it more. The children who would watch this I think would be between the ages of 8-12. The children that like this will mostly be adventurous and enjoy comedy. They would mostly not be girly but the occasional one would.

On for 30 minutes at 6:15 every Monday.

Purpose of Product:
To use comedy to entertain our audience but to also give them information about past history.

Content:

Each week we will have regular features including

-   The presenter which is a puppet rat always introduces each new period in history.

-   A song about past, funny deaths of people.

-   A new funny song about a period in history each program to help you understand the topic better.

-   A scary story is told each week with a twist that the story isn’t actually scary.

-   A scene inside a hospital showing us past medicine ideas.

Target Audience:

The television program is aimed at children of both sexes which are interested in history, fun and comedy.

It has a broad appeal to children of all backgrounds.
